Berlin, CT - Royal Machine & Tool Corporation ( Royal Workholding) has named John Darling to the new position of Chief Application Engineer.

In his new position Darling will be responsible for the corporation's custom applications and design activities.

Darling has served as Chief Engineer at Royal since joining the company in 1980. Prior
to this period, he served in a series of machine and tool designing positions with two national machine manufacturing companies.

Darling is a graduate of Goodwin Technical School and resides with his wife in Southington.

Royal Machine and Tool designs and builds custom and standard workholding devices from simple manual fixtures to sophisticated hydraulic fixtures with multiple faces. In addtion, Royal provides custom and standard chucks of all types for rotating and non-rotating applications.
