LS Series 10" through 36" Diameter 2 Jaw and 3 Jaw Wedge Type Power Chucks

    Standard ASA B5.9 Type A1,
    A2, D1, B2, DIN 55026-1
    DIN 55021-A and ISO R
    702-1 spindles.

  • The LS Series Power Chucks
    are designed to provide
    accuracy, high clamping force
    and long service life.

  • Large load bearing surfaces reduce wear, increase accuracy and service life.
  • LS Series Power Chucks are manufactured in the USA from high-alloy steel. All wearing surfaces are hardened and ground.

a. 10" through 18" chuck
bodies are manufactured
from 8620 steel case
hardened.


b. 21" and larger chuck
bodies are manufactured
from 4150 heat treated
steel.

c. master jaws and wedges are manufactured from 8620 steel case hardening.

  • Superior chip and coolant
    protection reduces lubrication frequency, increases chucking
    force and extends service life.
  • Lubrication Fittings - one in each master jaw and three in the chuck body (all 6 in the
    periphery for ease of access) - provide lubrication for all
    wearing surface
  • LS Series 10" through 18" are
    supplied with tapped holes in lieu of "T" slots. 21" through 36" are supplied with tapped holes or "T" slots, customer to specify.
  • LS Series are supplied with
    American Standard Tongue
    and Groove or American
    Standard Acme Serrated
    Master jaws. Additional Jaw
    configurations are available.

  • 1/4" inch American
    Standard Square
    Serrated
  • 1/16" x 90° v serration
    10 " through 12"
  • 3/32" x 90° v serration
    15" through 36"
  • 1.5mm x 60° v
    serration 10" through 15"
  • 3mm x 60° v serration
