LaBella Racing of Plainville, CT Selects Royal Machine As One Of Their Primary Supporters In Their Quest For “INEX Racing Division Victories.”

New Winning Team – Starting this fall Royal Machine will co-sponsor the LaBella Racing Team and Caterina LaBella…Legends Racing International (INEX) “2015 Sportsmen of the Year” Driver”… who will be driving her #03 LaBella 37 Chevy Buble Coupe throughout New England during the 2017 INEX Weekend Series.

Berlin, CT – In making the announcement, Guy Byrne, Senior Vice President & General Manager, stated ” To gain ever increasing awareness of Royal Machine’s workholding products and services by our customers and prospects we were extremely pleased to have become a proud sponsor of the LaBella Racing Team with their “2014 Rookie of the Year” and “2015 Sportsmen of the Year” Driver, Caterina LaBella.”

Byrne further stated, “Our demographic research and surveys indicate that a majority of our customers and prospects in the metalworking industry are officials, crew members and car racing fans who heavily support and attend Legends Racing International (INEX) Weekend Races. And, as a primary LaBella co-sponsor and with Royal Machine being continually promoted at future races, we will gain even greater customer/prospect awareness as Caterina and LaBella Racing continue their original goal of climbing up the ranks of the local “INEX Racing Division.” In addition, we plan on having our automotive industry engineering group assist LaBella’s Racing Team by sharing their fifty years of talents and experience.”

The LaBella Racing Team was formed in 2013 to compete in the extremely popular Legends Racing International (INEX) Circuit which features a “spec” series of mechanically identical cars available in 10 types of body styles. Caterina’s power of choice is a 37 Chevy Bubble Coupe with a 1200 Yamaha Engine.

Legends Racing International (INEX) was founded in 1992 when Charlotte Motor Speedway (formerly Lowe’s Motor Speedway) officials noticed a need for lower cost racing cars requiring little maintenance time and cost. The “dwarf size” concept of cars was selected of those resembling the ’30s and ’40s as they competed in the early NASCAR modified tour races. The first Legends Car was unveiled in April 1992 by then President, Humpy Wheeler, and Road Racer Elliot Forbes-Robinson. Legends Cars are currently produced by US Legends Cars International in Harrisburg, NC…the largest mass producer of racing cars in the world.
